She Rises Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring hope, dignity, and opportunity to women and young mothers who have experienced trauma, including gender-based abuse and violence, neglect, or life-altering hardship.
We believe that a woman’s past does not define her future. Many of the women we serve have endured abuse, betrayal, or exploitation simply because of their gender. Through compassionate support, meaningful mentorship, and practical skill-building, we walk alongside women as they heal, reclaim their voices, and rise into stable, empowered lives for themselves and their children.
Our Why
She Rises Foundation was born out of lived experience. Our founder understands firsthand the pain, isolation, and lasting impact of trauma and gender-based abuse—and also the power of healing, restoration, and renewed purpose. This personal journey fuels our commitment to creating safe, judgment-free spaces where women are believed, protected, and supported as they rebuild their lives.
What We Do
We support women and survivors of gender-based violence through three core pillars:
Support: Providing emotional care, safe spaces, crisis support, and referrals to trusted services for survivors of abuse.
Mentorship: Offering guidance, encouragement, and positive role models to rebuild confidence and self-worth.
Skill Building: Equipping women with life and vocational skills that promote independence, stability, and long-term empowerment Together, these pillars help women move from survival to healing—and from healing to lasting independence.
Our Vision
We envision a world where every woman, regardless of her past or the violence she has endured, has the opportunity to rise with dignity, heal from trauma, and build a stable, empowered future for herself and her children.
Our Commitment
At She Rises Foundation, we lead with compassion, integrity, confidentiality, and respect. We are committed to protecting survivors of gender-based violence, honoring their stories, and walking beside them—step by step—as they rise.
